Care Home Assistant

Salary: £26,000 per year

A great opportunity to work with a very well established group of care homes that also provide domiciliary and live in care for its elderly and vulnerable patients. They are well known for providing top quality care in the community and at the moment they are needing great staff more than ever. They need staff more now than ever, and they were already looking for staff before the elderly were at more risk.

Due to staff shortages at the moment they are recruiting for Care Assistants, you will be:-

* Providing elderly people with emotional and functional care at the residential care home in Swanage in Dorset

* Supporting them with medication, assistance with personal care, helping to with feeding them, and social activities so they don’t get bored

Qualifications/Experience/Requirements

* You would need to able to pass a DBS check – this will be fast tracked

* Living anywhere within travelling distance to Swanage in Dorset would be needed

* You don’t need any qualifications, you just need to be a caring person who wants to help

* You need to be passionate about helping people in your community to give them care, support, and guidance in this difficult times

* You need to be reliable and demonstrate empathy and integrity
