Fantastic opportunity for an experienced, quality-focused Care Home Manager to manage a well-established Residential Care Home located within the city of Liverpool, in a popular area with all local amenities. Currently Abbygale Lodge enjoys excellent CQC ratings.

This 35 bed Home, which is run by a small, independent care home group, offers comprehensive residential care services for the elderly and dementia and also includes a 6 bedded unit for mental health clients. All 3 units are located within one premise. The successful candidate will assume full accountability for the operational performance of the Home and be expected to develop and maintain excellent relationships with outside agencies and other stakeholders, with a view to consistently achieving excellent occupancy levels as a result.

Furthermore, the post-holder will work in close liaison with the carer team to drive quality standards and improvements within the Home, ensuring the new fundamental standards recently introduced by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) are met and then consistently adhered to.

We are looking for a person who has worked as a Care Home Manager with experience. Successful applicant should have the experience of liaising with CQC and local authorities.

Outstanding communication, team-working and leadership skills are all essential, as is demonstrable experience in providing a service which meets all CQC registration requirements to a high standard.
