Senior Site Manager-Refurbishment

Our Client, a Major construction company have an upcoming contract with a view to a permanent vacancy within the East Sussex region. The position will consist of the management of refurbishment projects for EDF energy buildings.

The candidate will be tasked with managing the numerous sub contractors on site, ensuring all health and safety requirements are met and considered. The candidate will have to liaise with the client and local authorities to ensure the government building regulations are met. You will be expected to work to drawings, keep within budget and project time scales. The Candidate will have previous experience within commercial refurbishment and will be able to manage a project with varied sub contractors. The main works being carried out will be Electrical, Plastering, Decorating, Carpentry, Plumbing Etc.

The ideal candidate will have as a minimum a valid SMSTS & NEBOSH or IOSH and Asbestos awareness. A current First Aid Certificate is essential, as you will be the designated first aider. Desired qualifications would be a PASMA and IPAF.
