Job Overview:
An excellent opportunity has arisen with an MSP based in Newcastle for the role of IT Support Engineer. Our client work across the UK for a number of businesses and education establishments. Working in a fast-paced environment where no day is the same.
We are looking for an individual with a friendly and positive attitude, someone who can work individually but also as part of our team with the utmost integrity at all times to resolve technical support issues.
Key duties and responsibilities:
* Assist clients with diagnosis of issues via telephone, email or remote access
* Effectively managing support tickets based on client SLAs
* Provide an escalation point for unresolved tickets
* Maintain a high degree of customer service
* Take ownership of client problems
* Update client documentation
* Provide advice and training to clients
Skills required:
* Microsoft Operating Systems (Client and Server)
* Microsoft Office 365
* Powershell, Hyper-V, AWS, Azure
* Email migrations
* Networking and Security (IP, DNS, VPN etc.)
* Cloud IdP Technology
* Microsoft certification(s) advantageous
* Previous experience within an MSP background; comfortable working in a busy support department and managing own workload would be advantageous
Hours of work: 09:00 – 5:30 pm
