Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 per year

Location: Cambridge (Moving to Ely 2023)

Hours: 7:30am – 3:45pm Monday to Friday

Polytec are looking for a bright and proactive Quality Inspector to join a growing team in Cambridge. You will be performing in-process inspection and testing of finished products

Responsibilities

* Verify the conformity of parts, assemblies and sub-assemblies in line with engineering drawings and QMS

* The ability to use a wide range of inspection and test equipment

* Ensure the completion of comprehensive and auditable inspection records

* Liaise with other departments including Production, Engineering etc. to resolve manufacturing issues where identified by the Quality Team Leader or Operations Quality Manager.

* Take an active role in the reduction of non-conformances

Requirements

* ONC/HNC in an Engineering discipline (or relevant experience)

* A strong Metrology or CMM background would be an advantage

* Ability to work to tight timescales whilst maintaining quality standards
