Salary: £31,200 – £33,600 per year

We are currently recruiting for a long-established Bradford based manufacturer who need to beef up their Quality team with the appointment of a Quality Inspector. A predominantly machine shop environment you will be working across the plant from goods inwards to final Inspection. If you are a CNC or Manual machinist looking to move into Inspection the company is willing to train you in return for your commitment.

Quality/Machine Shop/CMM/Inspection/Root cause analysis/Inspection/CNC/Machining

Stuff you will get involved with:

Approve in-process production by conducting visual and measurement tests communicating results to operators to ensure adjustments are made for product conformity.

Document Inspection results and test data against customer requirements

CMM and Vision system operation -Training available

Approve incoming materials to ensure correct specification has been supplied

Remove non-conforming products Maintain measuring equipment in accordance with instructions and call for repairs where required.

Maintain calibration database

Assist the Quality Manager in achieving the company quality goals

You:

Able to read and interpret technical engineering drawings

Experienced Inspector or an experienced machinist

Able to use all conventional measuring instruments i.e. Verniers, Micrometers, Gauges etc.

Keen to learn new skills

Organised

Team Player
