Accountant / Book-Keeper – Part Time

We are a small restaurant and catering company in Wimborne, we require a part time experienced accountant / book-keeper to join our expanding team.

Initially we estimate about 16 hours a week is needed, hours are flexible and ideally spread over 3 days at the restaurant in Wimborne.

The successful candidate will need a ‘hands-on’ approach to gathering information.

Candidates need to have current experience with VAT, Sage Line 50 and Excel spreadsheets

Duties to include:

Purchase ledger and reconciling supplier statements

Sales ledger

Bank account entry and reconciliation

Petty cash

Prepare detailed takings schedule and reconciling cash received with cash banked

Preparing Monthly management accounts and budgeting

Preparing quarterly VAT returns
