Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 per year

The role

Arlington Moore are working in partnership with a successful company based in Lincoln who are looking to appoint an Import Export Clerk. This is a newly formed role and one which will evolve over time. The Import Export Clerk will be responsible for ensuring all appropriate documentation is correct and providing customs clearance instruction to suppliers.

Working as the Import Export Clerk you will be responsible for the following;

* Managing import and export entries

* Raising any anomalies and ensuring they are dealt with in a timely manner and to a satisfactory standard

* Liaising with warehouse and distribution to ensure parts are shipped on time in full

* Managing customs compliance

* Liaising with freight forwarding companies

* Assisting with installing and executing the new software to support Import and export

Skills & Knowledge

* Experience of dealing with import export entries and compliance

* Experience of global import and export

* Auditing standards is a desirable but not essential

* Experience of integrating new software into a warehouse and logistics operation is desirable but not essential

* ITOPS is an advantage but not essential

This role would suit someone who is already working in Import export within a warehouse & logistic operation and someone who has worked importing and exporting globally.
