Weekend Transport Coordinator / Transport Advisor

KPI Recruiting have a role available within our Driving division.

Are you experienced in a Transport or Logistics environment? We are recruiting for a coordinator to support our busy driving division.

What are we looking for in you?

This is a fast paced role with an existing base of clients, and you will be well organised and have solid communication skills, ensuring you are always focused and the desk runs to an optimum. Dedication, patience and flexibility are the key to success in this role. We offer a relaxed, fun culture with no micro-management. The role involves supporting a busy team, finding candidates for roles and interviewing candidates.

The successful candidate will be critical to the Driving division as they will be covering over the weekend period.

Day to day the role involves:

– Managing a team of up to 60 drivers.
– Briefing and debriefing drivers as required for the shift.
– Communication with customers, sub contractors and drivers.
– Ensuring relevant legislation and directives are met accordingly.
– Maintaining all disciplines, drivers hours, health and safety, payroll and more.
