Business Development Executive

My client in Wellingborough is looking for a Business Development Executive.

The role requires the candidate to specify and sell for both the commercial and domestic market in garden shading solutions.

This role is based in Wellingborough with approximately half of the working week spent out of the office surveying, specifying and selling product out on site, both for the commercial and domestic market in outdoor shading.

Upon commencing work there is the requirement to spend a total of two months in Germany learning the product of one of the client’s suppliers. The first month will be very soon after commencing the role and the second month would be later.

The ideal candidate needs the ability to survey, estimate groundwork required for a base for fittings and measure and calculate costs of awnings and terrace covers, so some knowledge of calculating area and fixing to materials such as rendered brick is required.

The starting salary is £33,000 per annum plus bonus of approximately £5k per annum depending on how much of target is achieved.

The hours are Monday to Friday with Saturdays upon request, approximately a 40 hour week on flexible hours to cover the demands of the customer base.

The package includes the use of a company vehicle. A valid, clean driving licence is required.
