Now this is a job that will make you smile!
A very rare opportunity to work with a product that is unusual, fun, and an absolute joy to promote and sell. A role you can be passionate about, selling a product that you will fall completely in love with!
Our client is an established, extremely successful, family run business whos’ handmade products are sold throughout UK and overseas retailers, and online sellers.
Their success comes from a combination of fantastic product, imaginative creative team, and skilled craftsmen.
Due to their success, their strong brand and marketing plans, they are now in need of a talented and passionate sales individual to develop new business throughout UK and Ireland, and selected countries abroad. This is a key role where you will be an integral part of their continued growth in a market that represents huge untapped potential.
We are looking for someone with real spark, passion, and endless enthusiasm and energy.
Someone who stands out from the crowd just as their products do!
You will be responsible for identifying and securing new business across many varying sectors from retail to online and partnerships. You will need to be experienced in B2B business development with a proven track record of success, ideally with experience selling into retail, and growing brands both Nationally and Internationally.
You will be just as confident and comfortable with knocking on a retail premises door, as negotiating with a major chain at senior level or identifying potential distributors. You will also be creative and entrepreneurial in your strategy and approach to identify new business opportunities.
This is a remote role where you will need to be self-motivated and self-managing, with occasional visits to the team at Head Office in the initially stages. You will need to be just as effective via telephone, email and video meetings as you are face to face, and you will need to be flexible with regards travel as and when it is required by the needs of the business.
Pleas forward your full and up to date CV in the first instance with any experience you feel relevant in a covering letter. Due to the expected amount of applicants, if you haven’t received a response within 14 days please consider your application unsuccessful.
