Salary: £30,000 per year
I am currently supporting an engineering business within the Bradford area, who are looking for a technical sales administrator to support their Sales Engineer.
Candidate requirements:
* Knowledge of AutoCAD or Solid works
* Ideally hold a HND qualification or equivalent
* Experience on SAP systems would be a distinct advantage
* Understanding of the engineering sector
* A keen eye to detail
* A professional ‘Can do’ attitude
* Looking for progression and development
* Excellent interpersonal skills
The role will involve but will not be limited to:
* Understanding of technical drawings for customer/company specifications
* Quotations for new and existing parts and projects
* Ensuring production of orders on time and passing on relevant information to customers
* Liaising with customers & warehouse & freight forwarders re incoming goods/stock call offs/deliveries
* In-put of correct product codes on SAP and customer parts list
* Re-pricing of profiles in discussion with MD
* Occasional attendance of meetings inc. visiting customers/suppliers & exhibitions as required
* Onward compliance with H&S ISO quality standards, audits and updating as required. Working to develop & improve processes and policies.
* Occasional assistance with warehouse duties including stock taking, labelling, goods in/out.
* Order processing from enquiry to post delivery to include customer and supplier liaison.
* Extensive use of IT packages particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
* Collating, analysis and reporting of data, including reporting & monitoring of costs for budgets
* Production of spreadsheets to enter, edit and organise numerical and other data
* Support on the preparation, planning, running and evaluation of projects
* Resolution of customer service problems
In return my client is offering a starting salary up to £30,000per annum, with clear career path and subsidised learning and development.
