Sales Administrator

Our client, a metering solutions company for the Oil and Gas industry, currently have an opportunity available for a Sales and Applications Engineering Assistant to join there based team in Thetford.

The purpose of this position is to gain industry knowledge and aptitude in order to offer a sound support to sales team.
Duties and Responsibilities to include
• Preparation of quotes for customers
• Assisting clients with technical matters and gaining a firm knowledge in order to be able to advise accordingly
• Completion of sizing calculations full training will be given on this function
• Offering support to other departments within the business as required
• Gain knowledge of new technologies and contribute to the design sales strategies suitable for these technologies
• Responsible for procurement responsibilities and financial administration as required
• Take responsibility for all tasks relating to the spares orders as requested by clients
• Take an active role in continuous improvement and process control within the business
Skills and Attributes
• Experience of metering within Oil and Gas would be desirable however is not essential as full training will be provided
• Computer literate and ideally a working knowledge of Sage or similar package
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to plan and re-prioritise work load accordingly
