Salary: £42,000 – £54,000 per year

This respectable and rapidly advancing property development company, are looking for an ace new Management Accountant to join their team..

You’ll assist with supporting a team of accounts assistants, the right hand of the Finance Director, in order to keep the business sailing smoothly and achieving growth targets.

We’re looking for a Management Accountant with a wealth of knowledge and a wonderful personality.

As the Management Accountant, your duties will consist of:

* Preparing the monthly accounts, including;

* Accruals and prepayments

* Depreciation

* Overhead recharges

* Full balance sheet reconciliation

* Preparing the monthly VAT returns

* Overseeing purchase/sales ledgers, daily banking & credit control checks

* Managing a team of Accounts Assistants

* Being responsible for the 20+ internal companies within the property business

As the Management Accountant, your skills need to consist of;

* A CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification, plus experience as a Management Accountant

* Working knowledge of systems such as SAGE 50 would be advantageous

* Experience in accounting for groups with multiple legal entities is preferred

* Experience managing Accounts Assistants is also highly desirable

* Accounting experience in the property industry would be ideal, but not compulsory
