Salary: £96,000 per year

Contracts Manager -Leading Regional Contractor (Top 5) – Ashford, Kent -Up to £96,000 plus package

The Role

A leading regional contractor have a position for a Contracts Manager to join their hugely successful business managing a team across their Kent/SE London Business.

Key Responsibilities

Produce operational reports & attend monthly/quarterly/annual meetings to present contract performance overview
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and manage expenditure within agreed budgets
Manage and monitor site activities and physical progress of work for site safety, quality and environmental responsibilities
Ensuring the satisfactory completion of all projects to meet agreed deadlines
Ensure that a highly skilled and disciplined workforce is maintained and that a safe system of work applies.
Manage, direct, and monitor the activities of the on-site team.
Liaison with the Operations Manager on the development of staff and the completion of staff appraisals as appropriate
Maintain full and constructive communication with all employees, the client’s representative, other parties related to the contract service partners, suppliers, regulative authorities and with all local and head office staff.
Employ a consistent and diligent commercial approach to the role in order to identify and secure all and any other revenue increasing opportunities.
Adopt a commercial stance to all and any other opportunities to secure additional revenue via the commercial letting of applicable client venues.Person Specification

Good experience of man-management, coupled with pro-active problem solving skills.
Ability to drive contract service delivery utilising available on site resource.
Communication skills, both verbal and written, together with a good level of computer literacy.
Fully conversant with current Health & Safety, CDM and statutory building regulations.
The post holder must have a driving licence as travel between sites and to meetings off site will be a necessary part of the role.
Ideally a history of working with major contractors in a contracts manager position
Experience in managing multiple sites.
