A Marketing company are seeking a DevOps Engineer with experience in Linux, CentOS, Ansible, TCP/IP. The clients platform is in active development for new features and integrations so you will be involved with cutting edge innovative technologies supporting low latency – high throughput product. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and hands-on individual to join a dynamic, rapidly expanding, international company, who will ensure a stable platform for the delivery of our product.

Keys Skills

– Expert knowledge of and significant experience (5+ years) with running large scale Linux infrastructure. Should be familiar with linux internals including kernel, filesystem and network configuration and tuning.
– Good understanding of networking technologies including TCP/IP fundamentals, load balancing technologies and principles, DNS, DHCP, routing, Layer 2 switching

– Hands-on experience with the following technologies (or similar) including implementation and configuration:

– Dell Hardware, Cisco switches and ASA devices, F5 load balancers, Rackspace Cloud and Amazon Web Services
– CentOS 6/7 operating system and platform management, including Yum, Kickstart, Cobbler
– Configuration Management Technologies such as Salt-Stack or Ansible
– Virtualisation technology such as KVM, Docker, Ovirt
– Monitoring and analytic systems such as Nagios, New Relic, Pingdom
– Java based application technologies such as Tomcat
