£50K – £70K Base + Bens + Training + 6% Pension

As a DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for:

* You will be designing and building deploying highly scalable systems in AWS and Azure (mainly AWS)

* You will need some coding ability and understanding of the development process and tools.

* You will also advise developers on how to use the platform effectively, reviewing and advising on their CI/CD pipelines.

* You will have a reasonable understanding of networking and security protocols

* The work will include PoC, MVP, Application Migration and Transformation and other projects in the AWS or Azure space.

As a DevOps Engineer you will ideally have the following experience:

* Strong knowledge and experience in AWS and / or Azure services

* Ideally come from a Software background, if you have come from a SyOps background you will have had strong experience in Automation.

* Strong experience managing CI / CD pipelines

* Proficient in Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, containerised technologies (Kubernetes or Docker)

* Code management using GitHub or GitLab

* Scripting with Bash, PowerShell or Python

* Supporting collaborative incident response with 3rd party tools/software (for example: AWS, Elastic, Sysdig, Artifactory)

* General 3rd Line Support, ensuring that pipelines are effectively managed
