An exciting opportunity to join a leading global insurer in a fast paced New Business focused office as a technically competent Underwriter is now available.

The Role

You will be responsible for developing the commercial insurance brand within the North of England and managing your client and sales strategy by achieving set targets. You will need to identify and manage all new business opportunities by creating/maintaining excellent business relationships, sourcing new distribution channels, presenting to new clients, securing invitations to tender and negotiating insurance solutions. The focus for the office is to drive the New Business side forwards, whilst servicing existing customers to ensure profitable growth.

The Person

Strong focus on New Business ideally over both property and casualty (Full product training will be provided)
Ideally ACII qualified
Knowledge of the Northern Insurance markets and brokers is desirable
Proven track record of profitably writing New Business
Desire to drive career forwards
