Mortgage Administrator / Underwriter – Become CeMAP qualified

Position: Mortgage Processing Co-ordinator
Location: Market Harborough, Leicestershire
Salary: £26,000per yeardependant on qualifications and experience 
Benefit: Study package to become CeMAP qualified

ROLE: 
This role manually processes new mortgage applications to include new advances, further advances, and product transfers from receipt to offer whilst providing an exceptional experience to all new and existing customers.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to become CeMAP qualified as they are will to put together a CeMAP study package for the right candidate.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
a) Manually processing mortgage applications, further advances and product transfers from receipt of application to offer, to include: Credit checking, inputting the application onto the IT system; reference requests; obtaining valuation reports.
b) Issuing mortgage / further advance offers and product transfers to applicant(s), and intermediaries. Passing the mortgage offer to the Risk Team for assessment; sending instructions to solicitors. 
c) To be the first point of contact for brokers and customers during the processing of their mortgage.
d) Promote and manage relationships with both new and existing brokers. Assess these referrals appropriately.
e) Prepare referrals for the Credit Committee and where necessary to prepare the final report / appraisal to credit committee.
g) Preparing information for the Board / Executive as required, and deal with enquiries from applicants, intermediaries and solicitors prior to completion.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE: 
a) Already attained or prepared to study towards the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice i.e. CeMAP
b) Good organisation skills and attention to detail.
c) Able to keep up to date with all regulatory requirements 

You may have experience of the following: Mortgage underwriting, Mortgage Advisor, CeMAP, Financial Services, Banking, Mortgage Administrator, AML, FSA, Building Society etc.
