Our client has two main campuses at Ashington and Kirkley Hall and centres at Hexham and Berwick.

They offer hundreds of full-time and part-time courses, work with students aged 14-18, mature students, higher education students and employers from numerous industry sectors.

An expansion of the Kirkley Hall provision is underway with the new Zoological Gardens visitor attraction, a new tearoom and gift shop and a desire to increase the number of events being run for the public. The post of Zoo Education Host provides an excellent opportunity for a proactive highly motivated person to assist in the activities at Kirkley Hall Zoological Gardens which is open weekends and school holidays.

This role will be the educational face Kirkley Hall Zoological Gardens and you are required to work flexibly as Kirkley Hall Zoological Gardens operates every weekend and school holiday throughout the year. The post holder will be very customer focused orientated with a high level of people and communication skills.
