Full time, Fixed Term Contract until 31st March 2016
Starting Salary £27,240
This is an exciting new post designed to support the assessment planning process for children and young people with SEN across Essex, as part of the SEND Reforms that came into force in September 2014. You will need to have had experience of working in the area of SEN within a local authority or a school context and be able to demonstrate a broad range of skills and a willingness to work closely with parents and with other agencies to secure the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
You will be required to adhere to statutory timescales, have experience of SEN and its associated legislation and possess good interpersonal and written communication skills.
You must have a full UK driving licence and access to your own transport.
As part of employment with Essex County Council should your role require a DBS check you will be required to register with the DBS Update Service.
The DBS update service ensures all registered DBS certificates are kept up to date and allows authorised parties to view the status of your certificate. This is an annual subscription and you will be responsible for ensuring this is maintained.
