Job Profile
You will be hands on Manager who will manage a small hydraulics workshop looking after both the machining and assembly areas.
Duties
* Excellent understanding of machining and machining methods
* Ability to produce drawings for new bespoke cylinders
* Plan and organise the production plan
* Manage quality and efficiency
* Produce costings for new jobs, ensuring profit margins are accurate.
* Produce quotations to customers in a timely manner
* Manage existing customer relationships
* Purchase materials and maintain accurate stock levels
* Manage a small team of highly skilled workers and an Administrator.
Skills & Experience
* Time served Engineer
* Fundamental understanding of hydraulic pumps, valves and cylinders
* Excellent machining skills
* Ability to read engineering drawings
* Able to lead and motive a team
Hours & Benefits
