Works Delivery Manager – Rail

Our client, a major rail infrastructure organisation, is recruiting a Works Delivery Manager to manage works delivery teams for rail maintenance and renewals work, based out of Motherwell, Scotland. This role is an initial contract role for 6 months.

Duties will include the supervisory and direction of clients and contractors to achieve works delivery targets across performance, safety, quality and cost. Works Delivery Manager will manage staff competence and welfare, develop work plans, ensure work is carried out as to Safe Systems of Work, method statements and other instructions, plus other associated tasks.

Successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of supervising rail maintenance/renewals work in a safe manner, with experience of acting as a Contractors Responsible Engineer (CRE), knowledge of CDM regulations and ability to promote safe working throughout the team. Good communication skills and stakeholder management skills are required.
