Welder / Fabricators (Back Shift)

First People Solutions are currently recruiting for skilled Welder/Fabricators for a market leading engineering company based in the central belt.

The Role

You will be required to MIG and TIG weld across 1mm – 25mm stainless steel & mild steel in all positions. As well as the welding candidates would also be expected to fabricate so experience of both is essential.

The Candidate

The candidate will ideally have previous experience welding light to medium sheet metal on both stainless and mild steel. The products are high end so require excellent attention to detail.

Experienced in MIG and TIG welding processes as well as fabrication
Experience of working with light to medium stainless steel and mild steel
Ability to read and work off engineering drawings
Possess a flexible working attitude
Safety conscious

Pay information

38 hour 4 day week with overtime available Fri & Sat
Time and half after 38hrs & Sat
£15.97 PAYE through the company with holiday pay
Working hours are driver friendly 15.30pm-1.30am finish Thu night
5-6 months + plenty hours
Possible permanent position for exceptional candidates
