Weighbridge Operator Part Time

Salary: £26,000 per year

Weighbridge Operator- Part Time- 24 hours per week

Fixed Term Contract- 12 months

Selby

Shift pattern:

Week one: Mon, Tues, Fri 9.30am to 6pm

Week two, as above plus Sat morning (6am to 2pm)

Week three Mon Tuesday 9.30am to 6pm

Week four Monday Tuesday 9.30am to 6pm

The Weighbridge Operator reports directly to the Production Manager is responsible for weighing all incoming raw materials and entering all data into SAP. You will liaise and instruct drivers as to correct and safe operating procedures on site. 

Key responsibilities and duties of the role include:

• To sample / test / weigh all incoming Raw Materialso ensure that all relevant data is accurately recorded and entered into SAP.
• To ensure that all drivers are directed to the correct loading bay correct feed. To advise planners promptly of any inaccuracies.
• vehicles are accurately weighed on and off site on all occasions.
• At all times to keep colleagues aware of potential problems like shortfalls in stock or non-appearances of deliveries.
• Following the company procedures and policies to reduce impact of contamination to the environment & energy requirements.
• Following company procedures and policies to reduce the impact of contamination to raw materials and finished product
• You will have:
• Skills in Microsoft Office, including, Word, Excel, Outlook, and possibly PowerPoint.
• Understanding/Knowledge of SAP or similar systems
