Salary: £26,000 per year
We are currently seeking an experienced Machine Operative/Engineering Operative for our client who are a specialist manufacturer of parts to the automotive and aerospace industries.
This position operates on fixed weekend shift:
Friday 11am-11pm
Saturday 7am-7pm
Sunday 6am-6pm
The annual salary of is from £26,000per year, dependant on your level of experience. This position also offers a 36% shift allowance on top of your basic annual salary of, taking your annual salary of to £26,000 per year DOE.
Duties & Responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out production, inspection and machine operation duties
* Setting up machinery and ensure all raw materials are readily available
* Effectively monitor production equipment
* Working from technical drawings
* Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management
* Maintain a safe and clean work space
* Working within a small shop floor team
Essential skills/experience:
* Previous machine operating experience essential
* Experience with CMM, CMC and Grinding is also essential.
* Previous experience working in an engineering environment &/or CNC experience beneficial
