A local business with an nationally recognised reputation have an immediate requirement for an experienced Web Manager, based at their head office in Norwich. Working with a multi-disciplinary team, the successful applicant will take full ownership of a data-rich high traffic transactional website that provides detailed information on a variety of areas to the consumer market.

This position will encompass all areas associated with Website Management, both technical and non-technical as such in order to be successful in the position you will need to be able to take a holistic approach to the presentation and delivery of a large website.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
– Previous experience managing high traffic websites and taking full ownership of all web-related tasks & projects
– Expert knowledge and hands on experience of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and the practical implications of trends, analysis and Google Analytics
– Experience managing complex content management systems (CMS)
– Website performance analysis and improvement experience traffic growth, conversion rates, KPIs
– A creative flair for design, including User Experience (UX), User Interface (UI) and Responsive Web Design, with knowledge and experience of emerging developments within the mobile and tablet device arenas.
– An understanding of W3C standards compliance

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
– Experience with large scale data platforms; comparative analysis, real time information
– Team leadership / management experience
– Previous consumer, financial or e-commerce website management experience
