Website Copywriter

Our client is looking to appoint a permanent Website Copywriter, to join their dynamic team at their offices is Teesside.

The Website Copywriter is responsible for the creation of professionally-written, custom copy for the development of world-class brochure, e-commerce and client application sites. The Website Copywriter creates custom copy using customer supplied information. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in written and oral communication skills, as well as a background in English or writing, and a proven understanding of layout and design.

The right candidate will possess a strong understanding of marketing, ad-driven web copy, proper English and grammar, Web technologies, Web design and Web architectures. You must have an ability to multi-task and demonstrate project management skills. Organisation skills are a must for this fast-paced environment. You will have a strong understanding of web technologies, web design and web architectures, along with a very detail-oriented and excellent problem solving skills in a fast-paced environment, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

You will be dedicated, organized and team oriented, with the ability to multi-task and manage several projects at once. You must be educated to degree level, with a degree in English, Journalism or relevant subject. In order to hit the ground it is essential that you have had previous experience writing professional copy.

Hours of work will be 9am – 5:30pm, Monday – Friday, 20 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays). Free parking is available on site.
