S & L Personnel are a leading Recruitment company based in the Midlands.
We are currently recruiting for Team Leader Operatives for our food packaging client who is based in Markham Vale, Derbyshire (J19, M1). Our client has two sites in the area due to company growth in the last few years.
The position will involve supervising staff on assembly lines who have to pack stock as well as assisting with general warehouse duties on a daily basis. Your role will involve coaching and motivating colleagues to achieve hourly packing targets while monitoring KPI’s.
Key Duties of the Role:
Managing staff on a fast paced production line.
Train staff on procedures and new lines
Follow, and work to health and safety guidelines at all times
Manage Performance, Lead and motivate the team
Work closely with Shift Managers to report on daily targets and shift requirements.
Ensure clean room standards are kept to a high level at all times
Experience & Qualities required:
Reliability, honesty and excellent timekeeping is essential for this role
Great attention to detail and concentration
Problem solve
Team Leader/ Supervisory experience in a warehouse environment is essential for the role
Willingness and confidence to train and work with staff to achieve targets
Keen eye to spot potential workers who are keen to progress to a supervisory role.
Experience of working in a warehouse environment would be essential

Our client is looking for Team Leaders who are motivated, with a great attitude and ambition to work with people on a daily basis, achieving targets by coaching and working in a close knit team.
Shift Pattern:
All candidates will need to work a rotating shift pattern from Monday – Friday, earlies & lates.
Week 1 – 06:00am – 14:00pm
Week 2 – 14:00pm – 22:00pm
Salary: s:
£26,000 per year (AM & PM Shift)
This is a full time, working on a temp to perm basis in an exciting ongoing warehouse role.
