Warehouse Team Leader
Hours- 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 7am – 11pm
Will need to work from height and have a driving license as they may need to drive the Company van.Duties include:
* Setting goals, objectives and allocating tasks to the staff on a daily basis
* Working to achieve all delivery deadlines as per the Service Level Agreement
* Ensure manning levels are monitored continually ensuring all areas are achieving the required output.
* To achieve daily work targets
* Responsible for working with the Team Leader to organise and supervise the on-call rota
* Providing assistance and support within the warehouse
* To lead the team to ensure they are working effectively
* To be involved in any staffing issues or disciplinary procedures
* To be proactive in problem solving and providing initiatives to the operation
* Participate in operational meetings when required
* Overseeing operational administration
* To liaise and communicate with other departments.
* Ensure all van paperwork is completed, recorded and filed.
* Responsible for the team members Health and Safety.
* Ensure that all MHE is properly maintained and safe to use.
* Ensure the shelving and racking is fit for purpose and conduct regular inspections
* Ensure customers’ expectations are met or exceeded by service levels Provided.
* Identify and report to the relevant Managers / Directors any issues that may adversely affect the smooth running of the operation.
* Ensure all stock related activities have occurred daily and are prioritised
* Maintain stock accuracy
* Good Housekeeping and Working Practices.
* Working within other areas of the Company, when required
