Warehouse Support Manager

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Warehouse Support Manager to join a leading Healthcare organisation based in the Hertfordshire area. We are looking for leaders with significant experience in a highly regulated industry, preferably pharmaceutical, who can use sound judgement and set a clear and compelling vision that shows your people how their work contributes to delivering our strategy. This an exciting development opportunity for a Warehouse Manager to join a large global business.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Warehouse Support Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as following:

1. Lead and motivate a team (up to 21 colleagues) towards delivering the area performance targets (quality, safety and service). Taking responsibility for the training plans, personal development, safety and discipline of staff.

2. To efficiently and effectively use resources (people, material, equipment) to achieve stream objectives. Providing clear leadership, development and direction for the team by creating and executing an up-skilling programme for team members, setting stretch targets and evaluating results.

3. Conduct problem solving and trouble-shooting including root cause analysis using appropriate techniques.

4. Identify improvements and mobilise teams to devise and implement solutions for simple and complex problems over a 0-6 month time frame.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Warehouse Support Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant qualifications such as a degree or HNC/HND.

2. Proven Warehouse Management experience within the Pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industry adhering to cGMP standards. The successful candidate will have held previous roles leading teams of up to 20 personnel.

3. We are particularly keen to hear from those with experience in a range of supply chain functions including, e.g., Manufacturing, Planning, Warehouse and Operational Excellence.
