Warehouse Nights Manager

R3 Resourcing are currently working together with a client to recruit a Warehouse Manager for their night operation. The Warehouse Manager will perform a role that is integral to the ongoing success of their logistics operation. The successful Warehouse Manager will manage a team that must achieve targets for all deliveries to be distributed on time and to the right customers and clients. Due to a sustained period of success and growth we are currently looking to recruit an experience Warehouse Night Shift Manager to be trained and coached into the position of assisting our Senior Night Operations Manager.

The successful candidate will be part of the management team and will be required to manage a large night shift team including supervisors. The night shift is a very time critical/high volume operation so stress levels can be high the ideal candidate must be able to perform well, keep their cool and deliver results in circumstances that most others would fail.

Key Duties of a Warehouse Manager:
Control the incoming deliveries and loading operation
Managing in excess of 30 warehouse operatives
Recruit, train and develop a competent and collaborative workforce
Monitor Team performance, provide regular feedback and coaching
Plan equipment and labour resources, ensuring all tasks are covered in a timely and efficient manager
Liaise with all colleagues and departments encouraging clear and concise communication
Ensure service levels to all customers are monitored
Maintaining all KPI’s are consistently achieved
Manage the warehousing operation runs in sync with the transport and distribution team
Maintain efficient records of all paper work demonstrating evidence of team performance
Ensure full legal compliance to Health and Safety at all times

We are looking to recruit the right caliber of candidate to manage the night operation for our clients fast moving distribution warehouse. The successful Warehouse Manager will have a good understanding of FMCG distribution, ideally in a fast paced, next day or same day delivery operation.

This is a permanent vacancy with an immediate start based at our clients premises in Bolton. Hours of work are 5 days over of 7 and working flexible night shifts.
