Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Department: Warehouse

Location: Desborough

Purpose of Job

To provide accurate and prompt picking, loading and dispatch of pallets.

The job also includes other general duties to maintain the efficient working

of the Warehouse.

Key Result Areas:

Sufficient pallet moves per hour
Accuracy of stock ‘put-away’
Accuracy of stock picking
Accuracy of loading
Good housekeeping

Skills

Counterbalance FLT licence preferred, although we will train the right candidate.

Good literacy and numerical skills.

Ability to work as part of a team and also perform well on your own initiative.

Experience working to tight deadlines in a fast moving high pressured environment.

Computer Literate

Previous Warehouse experience an advantage.

Full training given.

Warehouse experience preferable.
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems

Working Conditions

Significant seasonal temperature variations.

Will be required to work outside occasionally.
