Salary: £14.15 – £23.4 per hour

Great opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative for a leading supermarket.

Staffline is recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to work in Purfleet.

The rate of pay is £14.15 – £23.4per hour.

Day shift: £14.15 – £23.4 per hour + 25% for weekends in probation period (12 weeks)
After probation- £12.99 per hour + 25% for weekends

You will work fixed shifts, 5 shifts out of 7. The hours of work available are:

– Morning shift 6am to 2pm
– Afternoon shift: 2pm to 10pm

Your Time at Work

As a Warehouse Operative the main duties of the role will be the use of MHE equipment within a large racked and aisled warehouse to pick a variety of grocery goods – ranging from wine, sauces, shampoo and confectionary to pharmaceuticals and domestic cleaning equipment. Stacking the items in roll cages on LLOPTs guided by digital wrist AMTs and trigger scanners.

Our Perfect Worker

Our ideal Warehouse Operative will be physically fit as there is some heavy lifting and repetitive actions in the picking and stacking of the cages, a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order picking and awareness of other colleagues whilst driving the trucks.

Colleagues are targeted and measured on performance pick rate and ongoing training and coaching are provided to ensure target delivery is reached and sustained.

No previous experience is necessary as a Warehouse Operative, Production Operative
as full training is provided.
