Warehouse Operative

This is an exciting, PERMANENT, opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operative to work DIRECTLY for a growing Steel Stock Holder based near Dudley.

The company is a very stable subsidiary of a multinational group and has a long established reputation for offering fantastic value and outstanding customer service to Engineering Businesses throughout the Midlands.

Working within the warehouse your duties will include:
• Picking & preparing orders for dispatch
• Operating overhead cranes
• Loading & unloading lorries
• Working closely with the in house sales team
• Maintaining accurate records of stock levels
• Banding & labelling bundles of steel

To work within this warehouse you should have:
• Experience of operating overhead cranes
• Manual handling & heavy lifting experience
• A positive, can do approach to work
• A strong customer service work ethic
• Experience of cutting metal pieces or bundles or driving HGV’s would be an advantage

In return you will receive a Salary: £26,000per year for a 45 hour working week, plus overtime, working days and realistic opportunities for promotion and personal development.
