Position: Warehouse First Line Manager x4 
Location: Worcester, Worcestershire 
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time 
Salary: £30,000per annum

ROLE: 

The Warehouse First Line Manager will help achieve a team’s outputs against customer requirements and operational KPI’s, operating within clear guidelines in order to deliver quality and reliable service for the customer. You will co-ordinate and supervise the work activities of the team providing effective leadership, communication, motivation, training and development. You will identify and work to solve problems in line with the relevant guidelines or policies. You will also monitor the performance of people, equipment and processes and highlight to their manager where they think these can be improved or need to change. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

– Ensure operational service levels are met and exceeded through the achievement of operational KPI’s 
– Effective team management including planning, managing and adjusting staffing levels to meet operational requirements within a short period of time 
– Facilitate excellent communication through regular briefings, shift updates and continuous feedback to the team. 
– Accountable for delivering a high quality, customer focussed service 
– Contribute towards the delivery of site and departmental KPI’s 
– Working safely, direct activities to ensure a safe, healthy, clean and fair environment for all the team 
– Ensuring 100% accuracy 
– Support the Shift Manager and / or wider management team in any issues relating to the operation 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE: 

– Experience of working within a warehousing environment 
– Previous experience of working within a Team Management / Supervisory role 
– Building and developing teams 
– Working as part of a team / own initiative 
– Good communication skills (verbal and written) 

DESIRABLE SKILLS / EXPERIENCE: 

– Experience of working within a supply chain environment
