We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Shift Manager to join the Operations team based in Middlesbrough. Reporting to the Deputy Operations Manager, the successful candidate will supervise the shift personnel.

Warehouse Shift Manager Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

> Through leadership and active involvement ensure compliance to: statutory requirements, quality procedures, responsible care, fire & insurance requirements, Company policy statements including employment and disciplinary procedures and site COMAH safety report requirements
> To ensure that the requirements of the site’s key customers are met
> To report accidents, incidents and near misses to the relevant staff
> Key person in the Emergency Response Team for the site
> Correct administration of documentation

We Are Looking For:

> PC literate with experience of WMS/SAP systems
> Have excellent coaching, influencing and communication skills and have a “Can Do” customer centric approach
> You will be outgoing and personable, a manager who takes pride in their work and leads by example
> An excellent track record of achievement
> As an excellent people manager, you will have the ability to network and influence at all levels
> Exceptionally organised, passionate about high standards and be capable of achieving results through others
> Focused and targeted individual with a passion to succeed
> Willingness to progress within the role, and the business
