The Vacancy
The Barnet Group is currently seeking to recruit a Voids and ODH Surveyor to add to the growing team.

We are looking for someone who has the following skills and attributes:

  • Voids and ODH works ensuring value for money, customer satisfaction and compliance certification and in conjunction with others ensuring compliance is gathered, verified and recorded.
  • Voids and ODH Property pre-inspections including property condition, technical information and recording whilst ensuring legislation, standards, and best practice are adhered to.
  • Identification and accurate diagnosis of complex repairs for Voids and ODH properties, ensuring all works are completed in a timely and effective manner.
  • Provision of precise specification of repairs of a complex and technical nature to a professional standard and the use of NHF Schedule Of Rates.
  • Coordination of service delivery outcomes including planned and unplanned improvements, lettings, and landlord safety compliance; schedule works, rates and minute value targets and to work collaboratively with contractors to ensure an effective service.
  • Ensure the delivery of Voids and ODH works are conversant with statutory regulation/legislation, Health & Safety and Barnet Homes policies and procedures.
