We are looking for a dedicated Fire and Security Engineer to join our team, covering Hampshire and surroundng areas.

Duties you will be performing:
The jobholder will be responsible for the maintenance of fire and security related products in and around the South West region, they will be part of an on-call rota and should have good knowledge of all the relevant standards such as BS 5839-1 and PD 6662 etc. They must be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
Main duties:
- Undertake service and regular maintenance of Fire, Intruder, CCTV, and Access control systems.
- Conduct testing and simulation exercises on fire and security systems to ensure their functionality in case of emergencies.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls for systems, ensuring minimum downtime.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with systems and performing repairs or replacements as needed.
- Complete daily work sheets and test certificates, ensuring accurate and comprehensive records of all tasks performed.
- Provide information to supervisors and managers to facilitate solutions to problems.
- Working closely with other engineers, technicians, and construction professionals as part of a team.
- Consistently produce work to a high standard.
- To ensure that all works are carried out in line with Boden and Client standards, policies and procedures and expectations – completing work in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all installed systems comply with relevant UK regulations and standards.
- Ensure Company health, safety and environmental procedures are always implemented and complied with.
Technical experience and qualifications:
- Knowledge of relevant standards such as BS 5839-1 and PD 6662 etc.
- Experience of both conventional and addressable Fire Alarm and Detection equipment
- Have experience of various intruder, CCTV and Access Control equipment
Key competencies:
- Must have a ‘can do’ attitude and contribute to the team effort
- Must hold a full valid UK driving licence
- Must be flexible towards working at sites all over the South West region
