Vehicle Workshop Costing Administrator

MC Truck & Bus Ltd (part of the MC Group) is a successful and established truck dealer in the South of England. We operate eight multi-franchised dealer points plus a dynamic rental business with in excess of 2700 assets offering innovative business solutions to vehicle operators

We are currently recruiting for a Workshop Costing Administrator to work at our head office in Aylesford. This is an important role which involves producing high quality job cards from the HGV Technicians job cards to facilitate efficient and effective invoicing.

Main responsibilities:-

 Monitoring work in progress
 Producing high quality job cards from technician paperwork
 Monitoring various performance indicators and escalating any problems to your manager
 Uploading work authorisation requests onto customer portals
 Ensuring efficient job card flow to our invoicing team
 Assisting with order number requests
 Producing repair estimates

Ideally applicants for this position will have a good understanding of technician job card write ups, knowledge of vehicle standard repair times and vehicle contracts and warranty processes. Commercial vehicle knowledge will be an advantage but not essential. It is essential that you have the ability to learn quickly and have good IT skills to upload information onto various customer portals (such as Tranman). As part of the team responsible for work in progress and job card flow you need to take an active role in ensuring daily targets and key performance indicators are met. Previous experience in a similar role or industry knowledge will be advantageous but training will be provided.

Hours:- Monday – Friday, 42 ½ hours per week. Start and finish times negotiable.
