Workshop Administrator – Vehicle Rental

Salary: £26,000per year

My client, a commercial vehicle service and maintenance specialist based in Harrow is actively seeking to employ a workshop administrator to work within their vehicle maintenance team.

This role reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and will supplement the administration support processes within the Fleet Maintenance Control Team. Direct interaction with customers, colleagues and suppliers will play a major part within this role and as such, excellent communication skills are essential.

Duties will include:

– Using your IT skills you will maintain effective administration systems, including accurate and comprehensive data entry, in accordance with Company requirements and procedures
– Data input/costing of workshops/mobile mechanic`s job cards.
– Logging enquiries within the maintenance team
– Managing low level breakdown`s
– Customer liaison / contact including odo reading and location updates
– Filing, faxing, photocopying, scanning and emailing documents
– Compiling letters and reports as required
– Providing general support with all admin tasks
– To build a rapport with internal customers to gain their confidence and trust.

Requirements:

– This a busy department so ability to work to tight deadlines is essential
– Must be computer literate (Microsoft Office Suite)
– Must be organised and proactive
– Must be an effective communicator with good telephone manner

The successful applicant must have experience working within an HGV workshop environment, those without this direct experience will not be considered for this vacancy.

The hours of work for this exciting role will be 8:00m to 5:00pm Monday – Friday and the successful applicant can expect to earn £19,000.
