Workshop Technician/ Toolmaker
Ebbw Vale, Gwent
£26,000 + Overtime + Training + Pension + Holiday
Are you time served at milling/ turning in the tool making industry?
Are you a dedicated, experienced professional looking to design and manufacturing specialist tools for customers such as JCB, Land Rover and Jaguar?
Based in Ebbw Vale, Gwent this company design and manufacture tools, fixtures and special purpose machinery. The company also provide external training for CMC/CAM if required. Due to continual growth the company is looking for a dedicated, flexible individual who can see the job through machining to final assembly and inspection/ testing.
The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience in the workshop along with milling, both manual and CNC, manual turning and familiarity with wire erosion machines is desirable.
This is a fantastic opportunity to design and manufacture tools, fixtures and special purpose machinery for the likes of JCB, Jaguar and Land Rover.
The Role:
* Design and manufacturing tools, fixtures and special purpose machinery
* Experience in milling, both manual and CNC
* Familiarity with wire erosion machines is desirable
The Person:
* Experience in general workshop practice
* Time served in milling, both manual and CNC
* A dedicated, hardworking individual who can see the job from machining to final assembly
