UX Designer – Remote Working

Salary: £72,000 – £78,000 per year

UX Designer – Remote Working, £60-65K + 15% Bonus + Bens. You must have a background as a UX Designer with solid Figma experience, wireframes, prototypes, HTML, CSS, JavaScript. User research experience: Interviews, Surveys, Quantitative / Qualitative Methods, Usability Testing.

This is a fully remote working role.

The role will identify and implement best practice in user research, design and prototyping within the software development lifecycle with a view to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct user research, both quantitative and qualitative, to provide an evidence base for user-centered design decisions.

• Bring design expertise and practice to the software development lifecycle by writing acceptance criteria and producing iterative designs.

• Produce wireframes and prototypes to help shape and communicate the implementation of new tools and products.

• Collaborate with development colleagues to build and maintain a style guide, component library, pattern library and design system that will provide a consistent user experience for both staff and customers.

• Engage with Product Management and Marketing to align design with an evolving product roadmap and brand guidelines.

Your experience / background:

• User Research: Interviews, Surveys, Quantitative/Qualitative Methods, Usability Testing

• Design Experience: Interaction Design, Information Architecture, Service Design, Accessibility, Component and Pattern Libraries, User Interface, Information Design, Style Guides, Design Systems

• Prototypes and Tools: Mockups, Wireframes, Prototypes, Figma, Useberry, Adobe Creative Cloud, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Atlassian Suite

• Strong communication skills

• Strong problem-solving skills combined with an analytical mindset

• Passionate about design, technology, and constant learning

• Desire to help others improve through mentoring

• A good grounding in design theory and practice

• Experience in creating detailed support and technical material

• Attention to detail

• Respond to tight deadlines

• Experience working as part of a team in an Agile environment

Any experience in Automotive, Leasing and/or research sectors would be beneficial.

This UX Designer – Remote Working role is a fully remote role and pays c£60-65K base + 15% Bonus + bens.
