UX Designer

As a UX Designer, you’ll be part of a growing team at the leading edge of digital innovations in the financial sector, helping to design the future of customer-focused digital banking. There’s also the chance to work with the UK’s leading experts in design and innovation.

You’d be working with one of the most innovative parts of the business, and the perfect environment for anyone with digital experience in an e-commerce background. The aim here is to make our Client the ‘Go-To’ digital bank in the UK, and even though they’ve only been around for 13 years, they process over 1.5million transactions per day and have over 3 million customers.

As a UX Designer, your main responsibilities will involve:
• Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team on specific projects
• Delivering consistent, excellent, customer-focussed designs
• Contributing to best practice in design for digital platforms
• Working closely with colleagues and external suppliers to ensure a seamless user experience
• Promoting and championing user-focussed design practices
• Communicating with different team members and stakeholders in a credible way

As a UX Designer, your skills and qualifications will include:
• Creative thinking and a passion for solving problems for people
• An eye for detail and a flair for style
• The ability to engage with a wide range of people, and make decisions based on a range of data and insights
• Confident communication skills and a willingness to accommodate a range of views
• An engagement with exciting, excellent and beautiful design
• Full familiarity with the design of digital and mobile applications, including the HTML and CSS used to create rapid models of experiences
