UK Finance Manager

Elevation Senior Finance are delighted to working with a leading manufacturing business in Hull as they seek to recruit a UK Finance Manager into their team. This role is a pivotal position within the current finance structure and will be working closely day to day with the Finance Controller in ensuring the smooth running of the department.

The UK Finance Manager will be responsible for providing financial oversight and transactional delivery to the UK head office as well as a number of other UK based business units. This will include the timely and accurate production of group management and statutory reporting for utilisation and review by senior management. Once up and running within the position the UK Finance Manager will also be tasked with reviewing current processes within the group and highlighting ways to for finance to support the business more efficiently by migrating activities into the Hull office.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

*Responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of the group management and statutory reporting
*Provide adhoc business analysis and decision support to senior management
*Promote best practices for financial processes across the business
*Ensure all financial information is compliance in line with Sarbanes Oxley control
*Review current processes and highlight how the finance department can better utilise the SAP system
*Provide guidance and support to the Treasury team to ensure treasury processes are efficient

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

*ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified
*Proven experience of working in a fast paced environment (manufacturing/distribution)
*Ability to analyse financial date/reports and draw conclusions and proposals from it
*Experience of managing a finance team and implementing new processes and controls
*Confident when dealing with senior management and implementing change within a business
*Strong Excel skills and experience of using SAP (preferred not essential)
