Transport Planner – £23K – UK Road Transport

Planner required for leading Transport company based in Bridgend. Transport Planner MUST have UK Road Transport experience.

The Package:
£22K – £23K
20 days holiday
17:00 – 05:00 – 4 on and 4 off

The Role:

Prioritising workload, route planning driver brief and de-brief
Working with customers/suppliers/drivers and other traffic desks, planning routes and scheduling delivery times to ensure the smooth running of the operation
Booking driver agency staff depending on workload
Liaise with other depots within the Company
Strong organisational skills for planning schedules, journeys and loads
Proactively work to reduce late deliveries and missed time slot
Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels
Maintain computerised system such as Sterling
Have the skills to use excel spread sheet

Requirements:

Management CPC PREFERRED
Sound geographical knowledge
