Salary £26,400 – £28,800

* 40 hours per week

* 5 on 2 off and 5 on 3 off

* Morning shift- 04.00-13.00

* Afternoon shift- 13.00-22.00

Depot Supervisor will play a very hand on role in the effective management of the operation on site including a team of Drivers and a fleet of vehicles. of. You will play an important part in ensuring that all of our vehicles are road worthy, legal and compliant.

Your daily tasks will include:

* Completing in-house reports to provide data required by the Depot Manager and Head Office on a daily basis.

* Checking that all vehicles leaving the Depot are secure and meet required current transport legislation requirements

* Ensure that all members of the team both employed and self-employed are complying with the training that they have received to provide whilst on site

* Together with the Depot Manager you will have an interest in ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others on the site

* Complete alcohol testing when required

* Communicate with your depot’s team of Self Employed Drivers, handling any queries efficiently and in a professional manner

* Transport Debriefing duties of vehicles returning from delivery and installation runs

* Take responsibility for supervising the reloads taking a very hands on approach
