Trainee Telesales Clerk

If you have answered yes, this is your opportunity to join us as a Trainee Telesales Executive on a permanent basis.
We are a leading European Freight Forwarder in Felixstowe dealing with the shipment on trailer of all sorts of products. Both import and export departments are targeted to increase their volume and due to these expansion plans we are now looking to recruit someone into our Telesales team.
Salary: Depending on age and experience
Benefits include health cover after 2 years, a pension and 20 days holiday.
WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM THE CANDIDATE
>Identify opportunities, produce customers from quantified leads and use resources (Jordon database, files, CMR’s, Internet, Phone, Directories etc)
>Cold calling customers – Weekly targets will be given
>Proactively following up leads
>Use of initiative to identify and follow up opportunities with companies
Who are not already on our database
>Manage ACT Database
>Attend Monthly meetings with the Sales Director to update information and discuss leads and customer base.
>Liaise effectively with the Export & Import department within Jordon to ensure customer requirements are met.
>Compile weekly list of all activity

>At last 6-12month Working within a sales environment preferably in a telemarketing role, however in-depth training will be provided.
>High degree of accuracy
