Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Working as part of the recruitment team, your primary duty will be to maintain and develop the company’s database. This will involve talking to contractors to ensure the database is up to date and accurate. You will also be involved with sourcing candidates and ensuring their suitability to be included on the database as well as assist your colleagues in respect of their sales activities. Specialist training will be provided.

Job description

Researching the job boards for potential candidates. Telephoning and developing relationships with new candidates. Telephoning and maintaining relationships with the existing candidate database. Maintenance of the database including CV entry. Advertising new jobs. Emailing in connection with job orders. Calling clients to seek job orders. Other tasks necessary to complete the role as requested whilst working within a small team.

Skills & Attributes

Excellent telephone manner, confident and comfortable on the phone. Dependable and hard working. Articulate with a good sense of humour. Ability to work under pressure and to deal with high volumes of work. Team player. Keen eye for attention to detail

Qualifications: GCSE education.

Hours Monday to Friday: 2 week shift basis 8am – 6pm and 9am – 7pm

Salary: £26,000 per yearRising to £23k after successful completion of 6 month probation. Excellent Team Commission after successful completion of probationary period.
