Trainee QA Technician

Direct Workforce are recruiting for an exciting opportunity for someone to join our clients Technical team as a Trainee QA Technician. Reporting to the Quality Systems Coordinator, the main purpose of the role is to support the team in ensuring provides a comprehensive QA service to both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities;
• Internal Audits and involvement in other Audits
• Raw material Release – Raw Material inwards and finished goods outwards
• Packaging checks, documentation audits, audit-readiness
• Complaint investigation, root cause analysis
• Sampling for Lab testing – co-ordination of process
• Taste Panelling to ensure product consistency.
• Report on trends and issues to Quality Systems Co-ordinator.

What are we looking for?
You will be ideally degree educated in Food Science or similar combined with experience in FMCG or a delivery focused environment either through full-time employment or placement.
You will need the capability to work flexibly to meet the changing needs of customers which include working different shift patterns, including weekends when required. You will be able to prioritise your own workload. Having strong organisational skills along with a passion for delivering results and a drive for excellence is a must.
To be successful in this role, you will be a credible and effective communicator, with the ability to influence positively a wide range of stakeholders. A real team player with a structural and methodical approach will make you an excellent addition to the team. This is a trainee roleand will have a progression structure for the right applicant.
